Marisa is an outreach professional who has a dual-role as Program Manager at Purdue University's Rosen Center for Advanced Computing (RCAC) and Coordinator of the NSF-funded Campus Champions program, which is part of the broader XSEDE project. Marisa manages the Purdue Women in HPC program and as well as various social media, marketing, and outreach projects for RCAC. As Champions Coordinator, Marisa is part of the leadership team that coordinates the broader engagement, sustainability and strategic planning efforts for the community. The Champions program connects and supports more than 400 cyberinfrastructure professionals who help their researchers identify and facilitate the use of the computational resources that best fit their needs. Marisa received her B.A. in International Relations from the American University and her M.A. in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from Arizona State University.
