Marlon Pierce is the manager for the XSEDE science gateway program, a component of XSEDE’s Extended Collaborative Support Services. He is director of the Science Gateways Research Center of the Indiana University Pervasive Technology Institute. He is the Principal Investigator of the NSF SI2 funded Science Gateway Platform as a service (SciGaP) project and Co-Principal Investigator of the NSF-funded Science Gateways Community Institute. Pierce has a Ph. D. in Physics from Florida State University.
