Kathryn has worked for LSU for 24 years in various educational and training positions. She presently works for the Center for Computation & Technology as Outreach and Training Specialist. She coordinates outreach events and opportunities and helps faculty with training needs for students and grant proposal outreach.
Her first 11 years at LSU were spent as undergraduate coordinator for the Computer Science department teaching classes and managing all aspects of the undergraduate program from having all instructors and teaching assistants reporting to her, to assigning courses to teaching faculty, coordinating all teaching and grading graduate assistants and coordinating all student programs. Before she joined LSU she worked as an independent contractor on software development projects and teaching computer science courses for schools and institutions. Kathryn received her undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Southeastern Louisiana University. Her Masters Degree in Computer Science was from the University for Southern Mississippi.
